Open Checkout
Students are welcome in the library any time of the school day to checkout, use library computers, complete assignments or tests, or read quietly.Teachers should send students with a pass to the library.
Visiting the Library During Lunch
All students are welcome to come to the library during lunch.Students should eat lunch FIRST, then show your pass to the lunch monitor or administrator. Daily lunch passes are available in the library; just come by anytime before your lunch. There is a limited number of lunch passes, and it is first-come, first-served. Students who visit the library during lunch will remain in the library until lunch is over.
Visiting the Library Before School
Many students arrive at school early. The library is open daily at 7:45 AM to provide a quiet place for students to read, study, checkout, or work on library computers.
The library is closed at times before school, so please do not rely on the library being open every morning. We are closed during faculty meetings.
Visiting the library after school
The library is open during normal school hours. At special times during the school year, the library will extend its hours for special events, research time, and testing. Students and faculty members will be made aware of these times.
Email
All students and teachers have email accounts through Microsoft Outlook. You can access your student email account by typing www.outlook.com or clicking the link below.
- Regular library hours are 7:45 AM- 4:45 PM daily. (at times exceptions for meetings, appointments, and testing days will occur)
- With teacher permission, students may use the library any time of day. Please see obtain a school pass from the teacher whose room you are presently assigned (for the standing class period).
- We recommend that English teachers bring their students to the library at least once every month to check out books. Teachers are welcome to bring the entire class or send students three at a time to checkout.
Checkout Policies
- Library books and play-aways are due in two weeks. Books may be renewed on line for another two weeks.
- Students are responsible for damaged or lost items. Please take care of your books!
- Students are not allowed to checkout any books if their fines exceed $10.00 for the current school year. Some exceptions are made to complete research. However, only one book will be allowed out at a time.
- Please see the media specialists if you need to work out a weekly payment plan.
